Terms and Conditions We will require a deposit of 50% of the total trip price (non refundable) to confirm your booking. The balance in full will be required no later than 8 weeks before your departure date. Cancellation charges will be: 8 - 2 weeks 50% of balance payment 2 - 0 weeks 100% No booking form will be accepted unless acknowledgement of the "Risk, Responsibility and Insurance" statement below is given.   Acknowledgment of Risk, Liability and Insurance. I acknowledge that I will be participating in an organised cycle tour with Italian Clarion which will involve strenuous physical activity. I confirm that I am sufficiently fit for, and am not suffering from any health problems which will be exacerbated by such activity. I have been advised by Italian Clarion to seek advice from a qualified medical practitioner if I have any doubts or concerns about my health or fitness. I recognise that cycling on public roads, particularly in mountainous areas, is an activity with a danger of personal injury and even death. I confirm that I am aware of and accept such risk and will be responsible for my own actions and involvement in this activity. I acknowledge that I have been advised by Italian Clarion to wear a cycling helmet. I also acknowledge that I have been advised by Italian Clarion to take out insurance against the costs of medical treatment, evacuation, loss of earnings and/or cost of care in the event that I suffer injury or illness during the tour and while travelling; against loss of or damage to my property (including my bicycle); against liability I might incur to third parties; and against costs I might incur in the event of cancellation or curtailment of the tour or my participation in it. I confirm that I will arrange adequate insurance against such risks. I hereby agree that, except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Italian Clarion, neither Italian Clarion nor its employees or agents will have any liability (whether in contract or in tort, including negligence) for any loss, damage, injury or death which I may suffer in connection with this tour nor for any failure by me to take out adequate insurance. Should occasion mean Italian Clarion deem it necessary to cancel a specific departure, I understand Italian Clarion reserve the right to do this for any reason up to 30 days prior to the departure date. In these circumstances, I will be entitled to: a) Book any other available Italian Clarion tour (where the cost is less, you will be refunded the difference, but where the cost is more, you will be expected to pay the additional cost): b) Receive a full refund of all monies paid. In the event that it is necessary for Italian Clarion to cancel a specific tour, Italian Clarion will not be liable for any flight costs incurred by the customer. For this reason it is recommended flight booking is delayed until the tour is confirmed. I also understand that should any circumstance mean Italian Clarion have to alter their advertised itineraries, or cannot maintain their advertised schedules they may do so. Italian Clarion itineraries are put forward as a statement of intention only, not as representations or undertakings that they will be carried out. If any additional expenses are incurred through delay, accident or disruptions of planned itineraries beyond our control, e.g. war, threat of war, riots, civil strike, terrorist activity, strikes, governmental action, natural disasters, fire, technical problems of transport, closure of ports or airports, cancellation or changes of schedule by scheduled airlines, or similar events beyond our control, such expenses are to be borne by myself. Any expenses I incur, over and above items included as part of the tour are due at time of departure and may be settled by cash or online bank transfer. Any expenses not settled with Italian Clarion before departure are payable on return home and may be subject to a £20 administration fee. I agree that the contract between Italian Clarion and myself will be governed by English law and that any matter or dispute in connection with this contract will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
